Just as it wraps up here, Masterchef has kicked off for the first time in the US.
The host for the American version is the one and only Gordon Ramsay who gave the following five tips for MasterChef success in the US TV Guide after the jump...

So the USA version of MasterChef is about to be launched and we can't help but feel like we are seeing double.
Do the USA judges look a little like someone we know?
Joined by restaurateur wine maker Joe Bastianich and four-star chef Graham Elliot Bowles, Gordon Ramsey is at the helm of the tv phenomenon, due to start on FOX in late July.
The photo above doesn't lie. From the bald head to the bright shirt to the suits, there isn't much difference between the USA and Australian cast.
Whilst ol' Gordo may be a bit of a ladies' man we recon Gary, Matt and George are much better looking!
