The Ex-boy band star and now general allround Aussie celebrity was talking to a caller on NZ radio about men wearing pink. The caller was giving a little bit of history on how pink used to be a boys colour and blue a girls colour when Brian chipped in with, "Yes in San Francisco and Sydney".

The caller continued with her short history lesson before McFadden interrupted her with this little rant, "Saying that pink is a form of red is the same as saying that homosexual is a form of male, in the old days there was no such thing as gay, it was frowned upon, the church would burn you at the stake... Modern day, if you're not gay a man should not be wearing pink."

His Aussie girlfriend Delta has come out in support of her boyfriend saying that he's devastated that he made the comments and actually owns a few pink shirts.

He was in a boy band ffs how gay is that? Remember where you came from Brain, how does tha saying go "People in glass house etc.." and as for Delta she should have kept quiet on this one.

if anyone listened to 929 this morning u would have heard delta explaining that he was just trying to be funny, and did not actualy mean what he said. so i think everyone shuld lay off him and give the guy a break for making a silly joke-that at the end of the day was not that humerous. i think theres more important things to get concerned about.
