Rove's Secret Wedding... Barefoot In Broome!

Photo Getty ImagesA barefoot Rove McManus has secretly married his partner of nearly two years, Tasma Walton, in a beach ceremony on Tuesday in Broome, Western Australia.
A statement from Rove’s publicist says the pair are “pleased to confirm” their marriage.
“They celebrated the day with a small group of close family and friends,” it said.
“Tasma wore a white, vintage 1970s sundress. Rove wore no shoes.”
In a contemporary twist, it was Tasma who proposed to Rove, the statement explains, having first “asked his mother for her blessing”.
“The day was everything we hoped for: simple, quiet and intimate, in a beautiful Broome landscape with a small group of family and close friends celebrating beside us,” Tasma said.
News of the wedding appears to have caught many showbiz watchers by surprise, with even paparazzi teams with their fingers firmly on the pulse, scrambling to make up for lost time.
“Tasma and I are very happy and look forward to that continuing for a long time to come,” Rove said.
“It was wonderful to get to share that happiness with both our families and friends around us.”
According to the statement, there are no honeymoon plans and both Rove and Tasma will be returning to the east coast to resume their work commitments.
Rove’s first wife, actress Belinda Emmett, lost her battle with breast cancer in December 2006 and he began dating Tasma in October, 2007.
