More Like Lady Gag Gag!
Lady Gaga took her love of dressing up to new lows at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
I'm not sure which view was worse, from the front or the back. I think her spray tan fell a little short of the costume line also!
If you would like something sweet to take the nasty taste out of your mouth after seeing that photo then try my delicious Nectarine Semifreddo. It will make your mouth go Gaga!
Nectarine Semifreddo with Berry Cream (serves 8)
Ingredients
Nectarine Semifreddo
8 egg yolks
250g caster sugar
Juice of 1 lime
Flesh of 4 large ripe nectarines – skin on
200ml pouring cream
125g creme fraiche
Berry Cream
½ cup cream
1 tbsp icing sugar
1 cup frozen mixed berries
Method Nectarine Semifreddo
Using a blender process nectarine flesh until smooth. Combine half the sugar, lime juice and nectarine in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, then simmer for a further two minutes. Beat egg yolks and the other half of the sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the nectarine mix to the egg yoke, sugar mix and beat until the mixture cools. In a separate bowl beat the combined creams until soft peaks form. Fold the cream into the nectarine mixture. Pour the mixture into moulds of your choice. You could use a large rectangle (which would need lining with Gladwrap) or a number of small moulds. Freeze overnight. To un-mould, run the mould under lukewarm water for a few seconds then turn out. Serve with berry cream for a great colour contrast.
Method Berry Cream
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until fairly smooth. Don't blend too long or the cream will thicken.
