Remember that time Britney got wasted in Vegas, married her friend and then got it annulled 55 hours later? Well the guy involved is still talking about it, even though it happened way back in 2004.

Brit's childhood friend Jason Alexander claims it was Britney who proposed to him on that fateful night, and that he agreed because he had very strong feelings for her.

“I was in love with her. I felt like she felt the same way,” he said.

But apparently Britney's management team were the ones to put the brakes on the marriage.

“They didn’t want to hear anything … and [Spears] came back, and it ended,” Alexander said. “That was pretty wild.”

The annulment papers stated that Britney “lacked understanding of her actions, to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.”

“Bullsh*t,” says Alexander. ”That was probably the hardest part about it. I had obviously got my feelings involved.”
