Kim Kardashian is doing her best to show the public that she’s not just a fake reality star after the demise of her 72-day marriage.  Doing her bit for charity, she made an appearance at the celeb (and paparazzi) hot spot, The Los Angeles Mission, where served Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless.

She was joined by other stars including Jennifer Love Hewitt (who is there every year), Zoe Saldana (from Avatar) and Kirk Douglas.

Kim was all smiles when she thought the cameras were watching, but we caught a few unhappy looks when she thought no one was watching.  She Tweeted, “Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else.”

Do you believe that Kim genuinely wants to help people or is it just for a bit of positive PR?
