For all the injured, that they will find the strength to heal and live on from this.
All the families who have survived but are trumatised may they find closure.
All the brave and AMAZING firemen and volunteers who have put their OWN lives to risk to save others. I cant describe how amazing they are!
All the homes, pets, belongings, memories, that have been lost may people find the strength to rebulid their lives.
All that have been involved in this tragic disaster in some way either family who have been lost or neighbours or friends may you work together to comfort each other through this grief. -

Im and aussie working in whistler BC canada for the season..want to give my love and support for those still struggling in Vic in these tragic times....its all over the news here too and its unbelieveable to see our country in such tragic times. I have donated through red cross and wish i had more to give. I want the people effected to know that even though we are half way across the world our hearts are with you. We will be thinking of you and giving as much as we can. And good on everyone who has pledged..iam listening to Hamish and Andy over the net and its awsome to see the aussie spirit and the people digging deep. Still in the toughest of times we are proud to be Australian! Our hearts are with you all.

Tomorrow night our church is having a special prayer night for all the people affected by the bushfires: for the people lost and for their loved ones, for the people who have lost their homes and every possession, for the firefighters who are working tirelessly to fight these fires.

My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by the bushfire and my thoughts wander over to those in Bendigo, where I used to live...hoping you're all OK. United Australians have touched my soul with all their generosity.

hey,

i'm a school student and we had our swimming carnival yesterday, we all stood silent for 1 minute for respect for those who lost their lives and those who were injured.
To all those caught in the tragedy, keep your heads up. Australia feels for you and we share your pain.
To the fire fighters and everyone else that has helped well done, you're true hero's and inspiration for the rest of the world.
Can't say I know how you feel but all I can do is give my support.
Never give up, never say die. -

It's Victoria's saddest time and you guys are doing a great thing to raise all this money to help our overnight 'refugees' and all the other innocent people who lost homes and loved ones.

I am in awe of all the emergency crews and volunteers helping out during these times. I have paid tribute to them in the world of the virtual - the net. As i wrote in my post on my blog, these heroes do not need to wear blue tights or a red cape, and do not shoot spider webs from their hands but they are the true heroes that are giving so selflessly and pray they are kept safe and sound and return to their families safely.
