SEX AND THE CITY!!! Camilla 5 June, 2008 - 12:56 PM

You can imagine how I looked last night going along to a gold class screening of Sex and the City... I was smiling from ear to ear, dressed in my lbd (code for little black dress), my favourite gold bowed peep toes (code for gold shoes), my chandeliers (code for earings) and ode to SJP's flower dress, I was even wearing a flower broach (if I have to explain that one, you haven't been watching)!
 
I arrived to find that the ladies and gentlemen joining me for the screening were equally as excited. We exchanged our stories about our sex and the city rituals.
 
My ritual started with cracking open a bottle of very cheap white wine with my housemate and girlfriends. That was all we could afford at the time, with living out of home and being at uni. It was so bad that it needed ice to dilute the flavour. Then I'd light up one of those long thin cigarettes thinking I was very cool... a habit which I've since kicked for obvious health reasons. But At the time, that was my Monday night ritual. So glad to say that last night I saw the movie sans the cheap wine and the deadly cigarette habit. I did however partake in a little cosmopolitan action (code for drinking a cocktail).

On the movie, it was sooooooooooo good. Honestly, I was worried that the transition from TV series to film would take away from how amazing the series had been, but every seam was tied up so beautifully and the film really kept all the hallmarks of the series, but it had the grandeur of a box office hit. I was also a little apprehensive about the length, but it was perfect. I really savoured every second… I didn't want it to end!

The only thing I missed was my best friend Laura, because if the film has anything to say, it's that your friends are the most valuable thing in your life!

  I soooooooooo can't wait to see the movie! I'm worried if I don't see it soon someone is going to spoil the ending for me.

  I love to make cosmo's at home and have sex and the city marathons. Just me and my sister in our pj's drinking pink drinks and having a laugh!
