DANIEL MORCOMBE INVESTIGATION

Daniel Morcombe was abducted while waiting to catch a bus on the Sunshine Coast at around 2.10pm Sunday the 7th of December 2003.In November 2004 Queensland Police released sketches of a man who was seen close to Daniel under the Kiel Mountain Road overpass on Nambour Connection Road Woombye.
These images, which have similar features, were freehand drawings produced from information provided by 3 witnesses who observed Daniel and this man. In December 2003, this man was described as aged 25 to 35, lean to muscular build, about 175cm (5 ft 7in) tall, thin and gaunt face, dark brown wavy hair, goatee beard and weathered complexion.
Police have been unable to identify, locate and speak with this person.
Clay ID Bust of ‘Person of Interest’
In an attempt to establish who this man is, the family of abduced school boy Daniel Morcombe have engaged the services of a professional clay artist to make a composite image from the sketches into a full size likeness of the man Police wish to speak with.
Hairdressers and an Airbrush Artist were also engaged to assist with the project.
“After 5 years and 5 months we felt it time to try something a little unconventional to flush out the identity of this person.” said Bruce.
“The face of this clay bust is so evil looking it makes you almost ill.” said Denise
The timing of this initiative coincides with the start of the final weeks of the $1,000,000 Reward Offered for information. A $750,000 Private Reward for new information was provided by anonymous
business people to supplement the $250,000 Government Reward on the 1st of December 2008. This Private Reward is only available for 6 months and ceases on the 31st of May 2009.
Queensland Police continue to work closely with Denise and Bruce Morcombe, parents of Daniel.
Taskforce detectives remind the public that a square shaped blue car was also in the vicinity of Daniel and this man. Are they connected? Do you know who this person is or who owns this car?
Members of the public are asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any new information, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

this is sad how the kidnaper still hasnt been found and i dont think the police are doing enough to find this man.
if i was a cop i would look day and night to find whoever took him and i would search every place in the world to find where he is and what he has done with Daniel Morcombeits just not good enough

I FIRST LEARNED ABOUT THIS CASE ON THE TV SHOW CI AUSTRALIA. I HAVE A 13 YEAR OLD SON ,THE HEARTACHE AND PAIN THAT THIS MOTHER EXPRESSED WAS SO INTENSE ,I WAS LEFT FEELING PHYSICALLY ILL. WE HAVE TO CATCH THIS KILLER ,HE WILL DO IT AGAIN, I ALSO BELEIVE THAT HE WAS ABDUCTED BY SOMEONE HE KNEW .

I FEEL ILL WHEN I THINK OF DANIEL AND HIS FAMILY, I HAVE A 10YR OLD SON AND I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO LOOSE HIM. THE POLICE NEED TO DO ALOT MORE THIS PERSON EXSISTS ON THIS EARTH SOMEWHERE LET'S FIND HIM AND HOPEFULLY RETURN DANIEL TO HIS FAMILY WHERE HE BELONGS. I HOPE AND PRAY HE IS OK...

its so sad and i also believe that police arent doing enough to find him i also believe that he is still alive as many of yous dont i for a fact do i live in brisbane and we went to nambour connection road at the start of this year to go to the big pineapple i then realised this is were daniel morcombe was abducted and i think the kidnapper needs to face up for what he did and realise that this is wronge yours sincerely kasey

It is a horrible thing. I was just wondering if Daniel catched the bus at all ?? I mean he could have catched the wrong bus and went to a stranger twon and...i dont no. So yeah, did he ??

How is it that the bus drivers on that day werent interviewed on a more indepth level?1 driver drove pass and the next broke down or whatever and was late.VERY STRANGE how in a matter of about 3 minutes,2 things go wrong with these operators and drivers and the picking up of people.WHOMEVER drove the bus the day that daniel disappeared knows more and the other bus driver that day would know as well and the COMPANY that employs these people know more as well.GRAPEVINE REACTION, is what you say. People passin the butt.My heart goes out to you people and hope these arseholes and bastards are bought to justice.My thoughts are with you everyday. carol mayer.x

This case is so disturbing. That a young boy can be snatched from a roadside never to be heard from or seen again. I hope with new evidence that has been released on Sunday night on channel 7 that someone, somewhere knows the whereabouts of Daniel. He is in my thoughts and prays. I could not begin to imagine the pain that his mother and father goe through everyday. I just hope that if any other mothers had seen the vehicle outside Daniels school the weeks leading to his disappearance that they can come forward and also provide some sort of description to police. Come on Public, there may be a chance that is child is still alive, we can only hope and pray

If anyone has any known clue no matter how small you need to call the crimestoppers hotline. You will be safe. The Federal Police and Media will protect you. This is unacceptable and should not be allowed to be laid to rest until Daniel is found. I am an Australian and Australians say NO to hurting our babies. No child in Australia shall be forgotten. We will find every guilty person involved in Daniels dissapearance and justice will prevail. And god willing if Daniel is still alive someone will deliver him safely to a police station or hospital or school. Please call crimestoppers you will be safe and Daniels parents restless souls may finally find some peace.

Illegal Work Parking - 29 July
This man has been parking over two carparks at work. His co-workers left a note on his car saying the building owners were angry and then dobbed him in for a Gotcha call.
