    World Music for Migratory Waders
    Sunday 8th February, 2009
Nudgee Beach Reserve – Midday to Sunset

Join us for a celebration of communities, music and wetland conservation at Nudgee Beach parklands in honour of World Wetlands Day. The festival aims to raise awareness of the plight of migratory wader birds which visit Moreton Bay from around the world each year. The celebrations will include a trailer screening of the newest Disneynature release ‘The Crimson Wing’, music, workshops, food stalls, children’s activities and information on conserving our wonderful wetlands. Queensland’s own 8 Ball Aitken will finish up the day with a sizzling hot hometown blend of original country and blues & roots music straight from the Mareeba Delta. No booking are required for this event. For more details visit www.ourbrisbane.com.au or call (07) 34038888.
